JWC grinders

Rotaserve is the official dealer of JWC grinders and screenings treatment equipment. For over 30 years JWC grinders are being produced in America and over 20.000 machines contribute to wastewater treatment and purification. With JWC equipment solid parts are being cut and if desired washed and separated from the main stream. The washed organic parts go back into the main stream and are ready for yeasting. This way we prevent that pumps, mixers and piping get blocked by solid parts as poles, clothing, bedding and shoes. By a low speed and high torque even stone spalling is possible. Through a small speed difference between both shafts, the space between the cutters, waste and fibres are automatically removed.

JWC equipment is known for the robust and heavy construction. The shafts (except for the Mini Monsters) are supplied with bearings at both ends which prevents the shafts from bending. The supplied electronics prevent the grinder from overload. For example; when a piece of wood is too large to be cut at once, the grinder stops by measuring the power consumption. The grinder changes automatically from direction of rotation to ‘loosen’ the product. Then the grinder automatically starts over to finish the job.

The Honeymonster is designed to accept slurry’s from tankers. The built in stone catcher picks out the heavy particles. Then the solid parts are cut, washed, separated and compressed. The Screenings Washer Monster is designed to handle the solid particles and rags which are taken out by a bar screen or other removal device. It cuts screenings and washes solid parts. The solid parts are then separated and compressed. The water content in the separated screenings are reduced up to 50%. By removing the organic materials there is a great reduction of the quantity screenings which need to be dumped. The dump costs will hereby decrease. Also the smell will be reduced.
